What a week and Just Inspirational

Well what a week i have had..... All that on top of a headache, hayfever and snuffles.. My new wifi printer decided that it didnt like my laptop and started to ignore its requests to print !! I tried it with a USB cable too and still wifi printer had fallen out with my laptop.. So after 4 days of loading and unloading the printer software. I gave in.. Purchased a new wifi printer ( despite the other one being only 4 months old !!) Yes it was under warrenty but i really needed to use my printer. I had DT cards to make and 'new adventures' that i needed to print off before i could begin them ;O)

Its my youngests 13th Birthday today :O) So Happy Birthday Ben xx

OSAAT Summer Dresses

Above is my card for this weeks challenge over at One Stitch At A Time

I used a 6x6 card blank for this card.

I coloured the image with Promarkers then added glossy accents, stickles and liquid pearls.

At the side of the design paper i used some of the Boofle adhesive fabric. Which i found really hard and not at all how i expected it to be.. The trimming that i used was from my stash.

I had a super fun image to play with this week. Heres what i did with it

To make my card i coloured my image with Promarkers and added stickles to the sea. Well it has to have abit of shine right ? I followed the colour of the boat through with the sketch... Then mounted these up onto a piece of Hunkeydorey card that i had in my scraps box.. I added 4 square gems to the corners because for some reason i think that square gems are more manly ;O)

One Stitch At A Time... Special challenge

Well firstly Happy Fathers Day :O) A nice quiet day here i think.... i went to see my dad yesterday.. I have a bolt stuck in my car tyre :O( So i am relying on buses at the minute. Sunday buses are awfully unreliable and very few and far between. Its a busy fathers day this year, with grandads, great grandads and even a great great grandad !!! All are such special people :O)

One Stitch At A Time challenge #117

Its another Sunday, whilst i would love to write about how sunny it is and that its been a warm week... i can't :O(   Its been a cold ,dark and damp week here in Nottingham. The queens diamond jubilee celebrations were somewhat of a wash out. With various events around the country having to be held indoors or sadly cancelled.. Nottingham gets to see abit of Royalty this week when the Queen, Prince Philip , Prince William and Kate visit the city centre as part of the diamond jubilee countrywide tour. So long as it isn't raining i may attempt to pop there and see if i can see royalty in the flesh ;O)

Anyway onto this weeks One Stitch At A Time challenge.. With it being Fathers Day next Sunday.. A card for the man in your life seemed the way to go.. So the funtastic theme this week is
'For the man in your life'   So it can be a creation for your dad, husband, son , brother or just a friend who is a male.

I got to work with an image by Stitchy this week and chose a great one for my dad.. Its called
'The Big One'

and a close up

It was such a fun image to colour.

I used my Promarkers to colour it.. The Design Paper is called Tea Party and the blue card i used for mounting my image was from a set of Hunkeydory card kits that i had left around. The buttons, sentiment and gems were all from my stash... I finished my card with a silver pen for the 'metal' bits. Oh and of course glossy accents on those sunglasses..
