Its a rainy sunday here in Nottingham :O( ooh dont forget the wind too :O(

I am spending my Sunday inside in the warm crafting, i have a few samples to make up. So its a perfect day to sit snuggled in a blanket with my glue in one hand and a cup of hot chocolate in the other !!

Above is my OSAAT DT card for this week

Its a gorgeous image by Claire from Hope Jacare, here a close up.

The trimming i added to the bottom of my card was there to represent sand.. I think it worked ok..

Well ewwww what a horrible day :O(   Wheres the glorious sunshine that we had the other week ? Please come back...i miss you !!  Its perfect crafting weather though ... so i suppose its not all bad ;O)

This week I had to pick an image by Gert from Digi Blessings.. Now it was for Mandy to use also. So i had to pick the gorgeous Daydream girl.

Isn't she just adorable ?

I coloured her ussing Promarkers with added Stickles and glossy accents ( Well you have too don't you ?? )  Then i used a piece of Basic Grey DP That i felt was just made for this image.

It was all then mounted onto a 6x6 scalloped edge card.

A bit of pink and a beautiful image by Stitchy

When i saw this image by Stitchy called 'Good Girl' It was one of those ooohhh light bulb  moments. I knew that i wasnted to attempt to re create the effect from the side of her top.... I added twine to a light pink striped background paper. Then added abit of bling. I wanted the twine to stand out somewhat and yet didn't want anything to take away from the image. I think i got the balance right ?

OSAAT challenge #109 Bright

Yay ,  its another sunny Sunday and how perfect for the challenge we have over at OneStitch At A Time..

It was coloured using Promarkers then i added glossy accents.

I used just the one design paper and 3 buttons.. Well its a male card and knowing the men in my life they would be shocked to have flowers, lace, glitter or bling lol. So its nice and as plain as i could make it ;O)

For this challenge i have used Tami from Gingerlofts' fantastic 'serenity set' which is available to buy here. Its a beautiful set and i thought it was perfect for my .Pastures New' card.

Oooh wouldnt you love to float away in those clouds some day ? I know i would :O)

I used the hot air balloon image and found some perfect matching paper.. I coloured the image with promarkers then added some glossy accents. To my card i added abit of twine and a few square gems.

The sentiment was made up eith 2 die cuts then handwritten..

Yes a very simple card but perfect for the occasion i believe...
