OSAAT .. New Beginnings... Stitchy

This week i was lucky to be able to choose a fabby image by HRH Stitchyness ;O) . I chose ' Catch of the day' who is available here




I coloured the image using Promarkers and added little gems. I cut a heart shape and again added lots of 2mm gems to the edge of the heart. The DP that i used is a firework paper that i was sent by CCW.
The image was such a fun image to colour and i hope that you have as much fun joining in as i did making my DT card.

Heres my Digis with Attitude card (Cowgirl)



I added to the inside of the card also using the same materials. To finish the sentiment off also.



This week it was my spotlight in the Stitchy Bear Newsletter :O) Did you see it ? I must admit it did seem very strange reading about myself in there LOL.

For my spotlight image i chose Barbara Jensens, 'Naughty Nurse'
I did think that this was a fantastic image for valentines.
I had to add the hot chili background paper for this sizzler, it just seemed right.... ;O)
She was coloured with my Promarkers and i put abit of glossy accents onto her and added a few gems. I didnt want to make the card come across as too girly... So hope that worked ? Its a fantastic image to colour though.



My final card this week is taken from the Love collab set that you can get free, if you spend $10 at Stitchy Bear Stamps.
Its a beautiful, fun and cheeky stamp called Oh deer boy by Mizumedia Designs. At the moment he is only available in the collab set.

Creative Craft World .. Hello Baby

Over at Creative Craft World its Scrap Saturday

Heres my LO



The vellum was some that was sent to me by a beautiful friend K.. She must of known that it would come in handy in the near future ;O) The heart pearls were from a set that my mum picked up for me

I decided to start this scrapbook in A4 size. So i can add to it easier than using an 8x8 or 12x12

Rupert the ....dragon

Everytime i see Rupert the dragon i always want to burst into song

Rupert , Rupert the bear..............Everyone sing his name

Ok so some of you will have no idea what i'm on about.. For others it may transform you back to the days of your childhood.. Right hands up. Who used to fasten the top button on their coat having it like a cape. Whilst running around shouting na na na na batman ??

Hehe ok i will get back to my card for today..

Over at The Dragons Den ,they are having a DT call. So as soon as i saw this little beauty i just had to colour him in... Hes sooooo cute



To make my card i used a Bacic Grey backing paper.Nesties scalloped circle die to cut my Forever Friends Pink Parfait paper. A button from a stash swap, tied on with a silver cord from a Christmas gift tag. The flowers are white wild orchid flowers that i have coloured with my Promarkers and added some stickles. Rupert is coloured with Promarkers and blinged with stickles. The gems are 2mm and 3mm Anitas gems and sentiment is from 'Its a mans world'.

I do hope that you like him..

New Year, New Start, New Card challenges

Heres my DT card for this first Creative Craft World Card Challenge.

To make my card i use a scalloped 6' card blank. Nesties labels 15. Digi image from Stitchy bear stamps. Promarkers to colour my image and stickles to add some shine.. The flowers were white ones that i coloured with Promarkers and added some stickles. Swirls were made using a Marianne D die.. In real life the colour is alot more pink than it looks in my picture. The sentiment was one i was sent in a stash swap.

The challenge runs until midnight on 18th January with a new challenge starting on 19th January and every 2 weeks after then...

Being on Stitchy Bears DT also i must confess that i do love 'Sparkles' by Stitchy. Its the digi i was sent to get onto the DT... So i do use her whenever i can as she has a special place in my heart.

New Year Resolutions

So we have waved goodbye to 2010..... Then opened our arms to 2011



Over at Creative Craft World we are starting the new year with a few resolutions... Why not join us ?

Heres my New Year, New Design, New Way of playing start to 2011



My resolution this year ( Well one of them ;O) ) is to spend more time with my family.
I am going to make sure that i put aside at least an hour a week to sit and spend time with those around me that i love... Even to just have a cup of tea and a chat ....




The card on the front opens out and has my resolutions wrote inside.. The doiley represents cake yummmmmmy and cupcakes makes me happy ribbon is because everyone loves cake , with their tea ...

So whos up for joining me in a year of tea and cake ?? Sounds a fun resolution to me :O)
