A Right Royal Dooo... Creative Craft World

Unless you have been living in a box for the last month... You will know that on Friday April 29th Prince William will be marrying Kate Middleton.
So over at Creative Craft World we have decided to go Royal Wedding Crazy for the Card Crazy Challenge.

Theme...... The theme for our challenge is Red, White and Blue. Then use 3 ribbons.

Sponsor ..... We are sponsored by The Stamping Boutique for this challenge. The prize will be a selection of their gorgeous digi images.
My cards :
For my first card i used the hotair balloon image. It was such a great image and with all the talk of street parties for the wedding. I felt that the cupcake basket fitted in with the challenge.

Heres a close up
My second card

Ive been waiting to get to use one of these cuties for a while. Its a Pocket Patooties image. Isnt she gorgeous ? I know she looks slightly blue ( its actually powder blue ;O) lol) I can assure you that it isnt because she is cold, as she snug inside that pocket.

I used various shades of blue paper and then added 2 blue ribbons and 1 white. Abit of glossy accents to make her shine and a gem or 2 ( Well you cant have a royal wedding without gems )

A close up. Thanks for stopping by to see my creations for this challenge. I can't wait to come and see all of your enteries.

I hope that however you have planned to spend your friday that you enjoy your extra day off work and have as memorable a day as William and Kate ;O)

Happy Sunday everyone ! .. Today at One Stitch At A Time... Its big boss lady Stitchy'nesses turn to pick the theme. So she choose ' Make it Sassy !! Now if i am honest i had no idea what that meant LOL.. Luckily i wasnt on my own ;O) DT member Julye found this to help us all haha. Sas•sy 1 (ss) adj. sas•si•er, sas•si•est 1. Rude and disrespectful; impudent. 2. Lively and spirited; jaunty. 3. Stylish; chic: a sassy little hat This week its the turn of Joanna Sheen to sponsor us. ( Click on the logo to go to the store)

with a £10 voucher.

MY DT CARDS:

This week it was my turn to design a card using an image by June at Dezinaworld... I chose ' Mirror mirror' This image to me just said sassy .... Well how rude of the queen to think that she was the fairest in all the land !! ;O) So its my interpretation of the word sassy

The card that i created has the image coloured with my Promarkers. Then i added gold pen here and there. The image was backed onto red card and then i used red and silver mirri card to highlight the name of the image ;O) Then added a few gems, well she is the queen ;O)

This week i have another card for you also......... This one is for Christmas Club at OSAAT. Dont forget if you are joining in with this fun game. Put ( CC) after your name so we can find you easily ;O)

Heres another Fantastic image by Barbara Jensen called 'Fluff'.. It isnt really a Christmas image. But i wanted to show that just by using certain colours you can give any image a Christmas feel :O) The image is coloured with Promarkers and a gold pen. I then used various red and green cards to give the Christmas feel. I added a few gems and pearl drops and a sentiment from craftwork cards.

Thats it from me today.. I hope that you have enjoyed your visit today ? I cant wait to stop by your blogs and see everyone fabulous creations this week.

OSAAT New Baby card for Shell

At One Stitch At A Time this week. It was Shells' turn to pick the theme.. She wanted to see New Baby cards.

The sponsor this week is the Stamping Boutique, who are giving a randomly chose winner 5 digi images of their choice. (Click on the logo to go to their store)

I was lucky to be given one of their images to play with and heres the cards that i created using it. Of course i had to make a card for a New Baby Boy and a New Baby Girl ;O)

Sometimes when you are faced with such a cute image .... it has to be done LOL

For this challenge i was also lucky to get to play with some gorgeous papers by Jess from Floppy Latte Designs. I chose to use her Spring Ginghams pack 1 which are available to buy here.

Well a few of my followers may know that i am going to be a granny.. for the first time in July ( and i am soooooooooooooo excited !!) When i saw the gorgeous papers from Jess i knew that i had to create a baby book, for Mom to keep a record of his first year ( Yes shes expecting a baby boy ) So above is the baby book that ive started to make up for his arrival.

Ive yet to fill in all the details on the front and create all the pages for all of his firsts.... Thinking first bath... first smile.. you get the idea.. I have 3 months left to get the book ready, so i will be working on it every spare moment.

The stamps that i used were inky stamps instead of digi ones... I did get inky too. !! LOL

I hope that you stop by and join in with Shells' New Baby Challenge. Dont forget to stop by the other DT members blogs too for inspiration and leave them some love.. Theres so many gorgeous cards that have been created this week....

OSAAT Make it 3D

At One Stitch At A Time this week. Marjo asked us to ' Make it 3D'.... Oooh now that does sound such fun !! Especially with today being Mothers Day here in UK ( Happy Mothers Day everyone .. Hope you are having a fantastic Sunday xx) This week we have 2 Sponsors:(Click on logos to go to the stores) A set of 5 Promarkers from :and a $10 gift voucher from :
Onto my creations :

This week was my turn to create with an Image by Barbara Jensen ( who is this weeks newsletter, spotlight creator with 25 % off her images) I do love these images as they are soo lifelike and i have found them perfect for making male cards !! I havent had anyone complain about receiving one of my cards with a Barbara Jensen image on it ;O)

This one is called Leather bound and it can be bought here.

With it being Mothers Day i wanted to create something for my Mum. So heres my box that i made for her. Its rather large measuring 6x6 and 3 inches deep. I do hope that she likes it.

A close up of the image
Heres the box at another angle

The image was coloured using Promarkers. I added abit of glossy accents to her shoes. Then backed it onto red card. The box i made was plain white. So i decorated the sides with a red and charcoal and silver papers from Craftwork cards. The coregated silver was from a swap that i had received. The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts and coloured with my promarkers. I added red and clear gems to give it abit of extra sparkle.

Thats it from me this week.. I cant wait to stop by your blogs and see all of your creations. I hope you have enjoyed mine ?
