Dragons for christmas

At The Crazy Challenge one of OSAAT Creators is the sponsor this week. *waves to Didge*.

Its the first time that she has sponsored a challenge,so i wanted to show her some support.

The image i used is one of Stamping dragons that i love,so i had to use it for the monsters attack and dragons tales challenge.
I tried to keep my card fairly basic so that the stamp would show itself off. All ive added was a die cut snowflake with light blue gems at the end of every point and 3 clear gems at the bottom of my card. Of course i had to add glossy accents and stickles 'bling' to my card ;o)
Heres my card taken outside in natural light

Heres it inside. I just love how the die cut snowflake has taken on a rainbow effect.

I hope you manage to stop by The Crazy Challenge blog and show this young designer some support for her first time sponsoring a challenge. BTW: Didge is only 13 years old !!!

OSAAT challenge # 28

For challenge #28 over at One Stitch At A Time

Its Girlie themes that take the lead this week or you can use the picture below for a colour inspiration. The choice is yours..

The sponsor for this challenge is the fabulous Kenny K Who is giving away 3 of their gorgeous images as the prize . Well infact a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize !!

Pop over to OSAAT and see what some of my talented teamies managed to make with the gorgeous images. They are absolutely stunning !!

For this challenge i used an image by Card Mad Fairy, one of OSAATs new fantastic creators. Ive used Lucy's Ted which is available here. Dont forget the end of summer sale which has fantastic savings too !!

I decided that this week i wanted to make a card pack gift inside a box. So i set to making a gift box. Then made notelets and enverlopes to match the girlie colour inspirations. A truly great gift for any girl.

Then a closer image of the front of the notelet/card.

I finished each card off with a few gems in co ordinating colours as diamonds are a girls best friend ;o)

Thankyou for stopping by to see my creations this week. I will be back with the OSAAT challenge # 29 next week. Until then i will enjoy stopping by your blogs and seeing your creations.

Creative Craft World. Sarahs' challenge

At Creative Craft World its time for a 'Celebration' receipe challenge thats been set by my talented team member Sarah.

Heres the ingredients:

1 x image (stamped, digi or photograph)
3 x flowers
1 x ribbon
2 x different papers
and of course it has to be a CELEBRATION (don't forget to let me know why it is special to you).

The challenge is sponsored by 2 amazing sponsors..

Stitchy bear stamps is offering some super cute digi stamps. ...Ive used one in my creation :o)
and
A new sponsor as a new sponsor Inspire me Papers and they have very generously donated an amazing prize of luxury occasions box worth a WHOPPING £30!!

So get out your mixing bowls add all the ingredients, abit of imagination and a memory or two. I cant wait to see what you end up with :o)
Dont forget to add in your post a little bit about your celebration.

For my Scrapbook LO i decided on a winter/christmas theme. I do love Christmas. Well that should read i absolutely love the whole build up to Christmas.....
Ever since my eldest was little ( hes 20 now) as soon as we had bonfire night i would remind him that Kelvin the elf was listening for him being good. He was reporting all his good and bad things back to Santa. Well it worked a treat ;o) So i carried it on with my other 2 sons. In 2008 i found a gorgeous elf online ( he came from USA) Kelvin came to visit and he was sooo mischievous. One night he took all the tinsel off our tree. The next morning i caught him trying to hide in a big pile of the tinsel. He climbed the tree. Stayed up all night playing on the xbox360. Ate the candy canes off the tree to name but a few !!
On the LO i made a ticket that slots in behind the picture which has journelling about Kelvins antics. I added 3 snowflakes/ flowers to the top of the ticket so that it was more visable

I wanted the really cute Sammie Snowman digi image by Lexi Creations ( available here ) To look as if it was part of the backing paper, thats why i chose to use a white background for my LO. Heres a close up of the image.

I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then added stickles and glossy accents. I loved this image so much. It was really easy to colour. So i just had to make a card using the same receipe.

Just for a little celebration hows this ?
To help with the celebrations don't forget the Creative Craft World special For every order placed from now until Monday 23rd August there is a 10% discount and a FREE Christmas present!

OSAAT challenge# 26

Firstly appologies for my post not being live yesterday. I had pre posted it but not sure what i had done wrong ! Sorry to all my teamies for my post not being active xx It will probably turn up at some point LOL... Anyway i thought it was safer to just re post, so here we go..........

This week over at OSAAT. For challenge # 26 , its time to get out your punches and pack a punch

Here my take on this weeks challenge.

I decided to make another Christmas card this week.. With such a great image to colour i just had to. I really struggled to find a holly leaf punch the size that i needed for my idea. So i used a die from my Quickutz Squeeze. I layered the holly leaves up to make a flower, made a border at the top and bottom of my card just to add a christmassy feel. I used Glossy accents and stickles on my image and holly just to give it abit of dimention. The charm of the christmas tree was taken from y stash that i bought last year.. The backing paper was sent to me by a dear friend ( *waves at Rainmac*), it was a fabby prize from our groups swaps.

I got to use Stampin Dragon Designs , you can buy the image here 'Rupert & Penny around the Tree is such a great design for a Christmas card. I really enjoyed colouring this image and i will be using it to make all the special cards for my childrens best friends this Christmas.

Its a bugs life

Over at Incy Wincy the theme this week is, 'Its a bugs life'.
So heres my take on a bugs life. Its a rather large alota stamp that ive had in my stamp folder for over a year now. So a great challenge.... Its finally been inked up :O)

The stamp was coloured with my Promarkers and i used a variety of blue papers ( to represent water) I also added stickles and glossy accents to give it abit of a shine and shimmer that you would find with water.. Then out came the gems. ;o)

This card has been turned into a boys birthday card. Im not sure if the having a bath once a year on their birthday was an influence LOL

I would like to enter this card into Incy Wincys challenge #54

Isnt it awful when such a dear friend needs you and theres nothing you can do ? :o( I felt so helpless when she told me her sad news. I just had to make her a card and a little token gift then she would know i was thinking of her.

Over at Cupcake Inspirations this week.
They have a beautiful challenge and have provided a yummy picture for inspiration. Oooh cakes what else would anyone need for Inspiration LOL.
The challenge is sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I have been lucky enough to get a Guest Design Team role this week. I was given the fantastic Quirky Dizzy Lizzy to work with that was created by Hope Jacare Isnt she just adorable ? !!

My card was made up by backing pink cuttlebugged (Divine swirls to match the top of the cupcakes) backed with a darker green. Then gorgeous Quirky Dizzy Lizzy was coloured with my promarkers then i added stickles and glossy accents. The image was then backed with a nice bright pink. The flowers were taken from Primas 'animal bash', with stickles added on the edges and a nice bright pink card candy cherry on the top.

Ooooh anyone for cake ? Hope you stop by the blog and join the fun challenges.

Heres mine :

This was put together by taking a sheet of 12x12 Bazzil Basics. I added 3 coloured images that are the new Christmas ciollection by Lili of the Valley. I used my Promarkers ,stickles and glossy accents. I then used my cricut to cut the Merry Kidsmas ( afterall Christmas, for some is all about the magic for children). The Santa is coming to town stamp is by Magnolia...

A closer image of the gorgeous Nativity theme stamps. ( Such a reminder of childrens nativity plays )
I then wanted to make a card. So chose the new papers by Dovecraft called Cupcakes. The 3 images were cut from a sheet of 6x6 paper that had 9 images on. I thought it was a great way to make a quick yet quirky card.
