Basic Grey and Cards for men

This week over at Basic Grey Challenges Its week 18 and colour combo time. The combo for the challenge is Blue, Gold and White. I used Bazzil basics for my blue and gold. The light blue matting i used is basic grey. The image was sent to me by Rainmac.It is of course, stamped onto white card.

The stamped image has been coloured with Promarkers and i added glossy accents to the bear to make him stand out. The honey has been given a coating of stickles,

At Cards for Men. The theme is fancy folds for week 8. So i would like to enter my easle fold card into that challenge also.

The card has been made for my cousins twins that are 2 at the end of this month. Oh my time flies !!

Creative Craft World challenge 4

The time has gone by so quickly !! We are already on Challenge number 4 over at Creative Craft World ! This months challenge was to showcase Prima flowers. With all the stunning new flowers that have been released by Prima. I decided to step outside the box and use some favorites of mine. The e-line white Primas are fantastic, i find. As you can use your Promarkers to make the flowers an exact match for your card. I hope you like my creative crafty makes. I look forward to seeing yours over on our challenge blog

I used 4 white Prima flowers coloured to match the boots and jacket.I then added Stickles to the embossed section. Just to add a different dimension.The centre of the flowers is card candy. You can buy white card candy and again colour match it by using your Promarkers.I used my scalloped oval nesties to cut around the stamp. The backing paper was from this months Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.. Kate Knight papers


I used pink cardstock and coordinates whitewash card stock ,embossed then i sanded the raised area. I used Labels 4 to cut around my stamp. I coloured 2 white e-line Daisies and attatched them using a brad. I had some tiny 2 mm gems that matched perfectly and added a little more Glitz to the card. Stickles and glossy accents provided the other Bling. The sentiment i used was from Forever Friends. I backed it onto purple Gemstones cardstock. The cream ribbon was taken from my stash.


The Thomas Cat card ( stamp from Lili of the valley) has 2 Prima white flowers coloured to match the flowers in the bouquet,held together with a brad.I again used scalloped oval nesties. I also added a bouquet charm on a piece of green organza ribbon. The backing paper is from Laura Ashley.

Luke and Ben meet Jack Swagger and Layla

Heres some photographs i took today . I had heard that there was going to be WWE wrestlers at a Tesco store not far from home. WWE are in Nottingham tonight at the arena. So they were doing autographs and meet and greet.
People queued from 9pm last night !!! To get tickets to come back and meet them ( Hmm note to self... remember that for next time !) Of course no one mentioned this, so we had no tickets.
But me being a Cheeky Choccy started talking to the events manager and managed to blag a spot for Luke and Ben :O)
Heres Luke and Ben having their WWE books signed by Jack Swagger and Layla. As they were the last 2 in the queue they had longer with them than everyone else too :O)

MSE oap's Receipe Challenge

Heres my entry for oaps' receipe challenge over on MSE .

I have to say its a tiny bit of a cheat.As the paper i backed the textured stamp in ,i have classed as my plain paper. Ive also used 3 buttonflies not buttons ;O) I thought the backing paper was really bright and colourful.For texture i used Stickles and glossy accents to give the stamp dimention.
