CCW Promarker challenge #2

Heres my DT card for the challenge over at Creative Craft World
The challenge is Promarkers. The prize is your choice of 5 Promarkers :O)
.
The image was coloured using promarkers. But i wanted to show that by taking a white/light coloured flower and card candy. You can follow your colour through to your embellishments. Often you just do not have that right shade of the colour you need, so then have to try to order online of go to a local craft shop to match it.
Here i had a pack of Prima e-line white flowers that i coloured with the same promarker as the shoes and dress.I also coloured the card candy for the center of the flowers.
.
Exciting news
Theres bit of news thats flying around the Design Team at Creative Craft World that theres a fantastic offer coming up. ... Of course with Free p + p and 10% off orders of £10 + theres always a good deal to be had.. But this one has really caught my eye...
Look out for Promarkers that will be coming to Creative Craft World real soon ;o)

Choccy has the most exciting news

Its soooo exciting yet quite scary..

After 11 months of making cards and bits and bobs. Luke,my 14 year old heard me mention about a site i use quite alot looking for a design team. Well he finally managed to convince me to have a go. We always say that when we make cards we are our own worse critics.Well thats me !! I always think of things that i could of done or added after ive made the card. Once Luke had finally ear bashed me ;o). I knew almost immediately what i wanted to do.. I made the card and it sat here for 3 days whilst i looked at it trying to decide what to do. I finally plucked up the courage to send it in. Then the waiting began..
On Friday afternoon i had an email off the website owner... Dare i open it ??....... After a few minutes i clicked it and read it .... YAY !!!!!! I have been asked to be a design team member at Creative Craftworld . There will be 5 design team members and guest designers. I am soooo excited to get started and work with the new team.. I am so greatful for this opportunity and hope that i can do, Louise and her hubby proud xx

Heres a card that i have made for the Allsorts Challenge 42 ( Just for men)

I cuttlebugged the top 2/3rds of the card with swiss dots adding a thin black ribbon to define the areas.
Beer monster embellishment was one i have collected on my travels,in short i cant remember where it was from ;o)
Sentiment was from Papermainia Just for boys range.

I decided to keep the card fairly plain, for young men

Mums card off the boys

Heres the card that i made for my mum off the boys.
I used backing paper and card that Thriftyscottslass sent me in last months swap. Anne also sent me the punched leaves.
The flowers were e-line daisies that were white, coloured with promarkers
The flower centers were e-ine also.
The tiny pink gems were from a multicoloured wheel that i received from Dragonllew.
I had chalked the plain white card with the stamped Daisy on too.

All colours are softer than they appear in the photo,as i made them late last night i relied on the flash and living room light......
Not to self: treat myself to a daylight lamp ;o)

I would like to enter this card in C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 40
and Quixotic Challenge #16 Leave it out

Picture embellishements from Lili of the valley
Ribbon and Card from stash (basic grey)
Charm from Quitoxtic
Teabag from Twinings ;O)
