Challenge #107 for One Stitch At A Time

At One Stitch At A Time this week we are asking for 'new'
Now that could be a new baby, new adventure such as wedding or moving house. Or even a new craft item !! You get the idea ;O)

We are sponsored by
With 1 lucky winner. Winning their choice of die cuts.
To win this prize you need to use a StitchyBear store product.

or if you would rather create without using a StitchyBear product you can win $3 to spend at our store.

For this challenge i have used Tami from Gingerlofts' fantastic 'serenity set' which is available to buy here. Its a beautiful set and i thought it was perfect for my .Pastures New' card.
Oooh wouldnt you love to float away in those clouds some day ? I know i would :O)

I used the hot air balloon image and found some perfect matching paper.. I coloured the image with promarkers then added some glossy accents. To my card i added abit of twine and a few square gems.
The sentiment was made up eith 2 die cuts then handwritten..

Yes a very simple card but perfect for the occasion i believe...

Come and share your 'new' creation with us at the challenge blog..
I look forward to seeing all your creations..

Hugs

Great card Choccy, what a lovely hot air balloon and I love the use of the twine, I must buy some of that as it seems to be big at the moment. Julie x

I love this, Choccy - it's like a cross between travelling by balloon and by rail - great idea!

I've booked my balloon flight for 11th May and definitely hoping it will be 3rd time lucky and we will get to fly this time..... Mind you this is the longest lasting birthday present as Paul bought it 2.5 years ago LOL

Lovely image Choccy and the bakers twine is a perfect compliment to it.
