Snowman Soup

I usually make Snowman Soup in a cone. But for some reason this year i have struggled getting hold of some. So this year ive had to adapt the idea. I do think it actually works quite well.

With the cone the Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows sometimes mixes up together. To make it up you have to remove the marshmallows, So it can get abit messy. So this is a sparkly clean version ;O)

I usually attatch a label to the top with a rhyme on. But doing it this way meant that i had the back of the card to stick an image on and add the rhyme.

The rhyme reads :

Was told that you've been good this year.
Always glad to hear it !
With freezing weather drawing near,
You'll need to warm your spirit.

So heres a little snowman soup,
Complete with stirring stick.
Add hot water, sip it slow.
Its sure to do the trick.

Variations:

You could always add a minature bottle of alcohol, say brandy or whisky to really make it warming ;O) Well more like a lamumba.
or
Top with chocolate chips or buttons for an added Choccy boost !
.
Todays extra.
.
Yes i know ......... more chocolate ;O) They dont call me choccy for nothing you know ;O) lol
.
Well ive seen some beautiful versions of these. This is the first year that i have made them myself. So heres my little decorated chocolates.
.
Ive decorated them using Pine Boughs which was from here. But you can use and card stock that you have. The scalloped circle measures 1 1/2 inches. I used the smalled one in my set of nesties
The white card circle is again from my circle nestie
The alphabet is from my quickcutz squeeze. But you could use rub ons, a pen, a sticker or anything else that you choose.
The Elizabeth Shaw mints that i used here are chocolate orange ones ;O) yummmmmy !!
You sandwich the mint between 2 x scalloped circle cards and decorate one side. I find it easier if i decorate 1 side before i fit them together.
I use DST to attatch the mint to the card stock.
Once decorated they can be put into a pretzel bag.
You can put any name onto the mints to personalise them. Making them a great little gift.
You can also add ribbon to the back card. Make a loop and put it inside the mint/card sandwich before you stick it down. This way they hang on the tree ( Thanks CT1972 for mine :O) )
or you can make them up and scatter them on the dinner table. For little table decorations.
Dont forget :
If you make any of the little gifts that ive shown here. Please send a link to me via the comments box. Everyone who makes one of my 'gifts' will be entered into a draw to win a little gift from me.
