NEC Bunnys' Day out

The bunnies were out in force ,ready to bag every bargain that was available at NEC. We went armed with trolleys on wheels, large bags with fold up bags inside.

The day for some ( Rusty) started at 5am when she left Newcastle to pick up bunbun, flourgirl, Craftyjuju then me. I was sooo excited that it was hard sat at home waiting for them to arrive. Our journey there was eventful. It involved lots of follow that vans !! chatting, giggling, blowing kisses to silly van drivers ( and that was just me lol)

Heres the photo of the NEC 14 ..Just as we were about to go into hall 11.

We did have such a giggle with our bunny ears lol. It was a great topic of many convosations..I had been presented with ears that had 40 on them.( Thanks Gemm) A badge that said 40 ( Thanks Jailhousebabe) another that was huge and said 'Its my birthday' (Thanks Sylphraven)and a happy 18th sash ( Thanks Jailhousebabe) :O)

From left to right : CraftyJuJu: Jan: Rainmac at the back: Jailhousebabe at the front: Sylphraven: Choccy: Bunbun : Leia at the back: Glittermum: Skiergirl: Popkins: Rusty: Flourgirl and Gemm85.

By lunchtime we had only managed 2 rows !! But we were all hungry. So all went to the entrance of hall 12 and sat on the floor for lunch. Which finished with Malteser cake that Sylphraven had made for me.. It was delicious. We also had brownies from Jailhousebabe and Rocky Road from Rainmac :O)

All finished off with party bags from Rusty: Party poppers from Skiergirl and a singsong from everyone :O)
I couldnt think of a better way to spend my birthday !!! Thanks girls it was a great surprise and your thoughtfulness really touched me xx
